Pay: $17.00/hr. + Commission
Job Types: Full-time position available (Monday through Friday). We are seeking an Intake Specialist to join our Intake Department! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Essential Functions:
- Interact with patient's and case managers
- Completes intake packet, including, but not limited to: consents, notice of privacy practices, releases of information, etc.
- Completing intake and annual behavioral health assessments, including service planning and support planning
- May be required to assist clinical team with routine, yearly comprehensive assessment and Integrated Service Plan (ISP) updates/ completion in order to ensure contact compliance expectations are met.
- Coordinates with all involved healthcare, behavioral health and wellness providers and maintains current documentation.
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment
- Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress notes
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
- Coordinate patient care with behavioral health clinics in the service area
- Interact with consumers to obtain information for initial contact and set intake appointment.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in behavioral/mental health or family services. (preferred)
- 1 year experience in customer service or scheduling (highly preferred)
- Valid Drivers License
- CPR & First Aid (required)
- Proof of Auto Insurance (required)
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Computer skills including working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar. Experience with Apple products is a plus. In addition effective interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, good written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, knowledge of HIPAA, typing skills, and sound judgment.
